WHAT IS HONORS?
THE PROGRAM
The Honors Program is an Academic enrichment program offered through a scholarship at Rogers State University. The program aims to challenge and grow students academically and mentally with one another. It is a full-ride scholarship, providing tuition, books, meals, and room and board. The classes are small, around 20-25, but the goal is to collect a group of individuals that can mix well with one another and help one another through the process of college.
VALUES
The Honors Program values human connection, academic success and growth through the study of complex literature and subjects, introspection, philosophical thinking, constructive criticism, and most famously considering what makes up a good life.
These are only some of the values that come with the Honors program. Going through the intense academic process of this program pushes you to learn and grow as a student, a classmate, a friend, a relative, a worker, and a person.
